Hi Volunteer,
Thank you for your update.
Please note the partner managed newsgroups are staffed weekdays by
Microsoft Support professionals. Our goal is to provide a one business day
response to all posts.
For time critical issues (not business down), we encourage you to contact
CSS directly for more immediate assistance:
International Support (non-US/Canada):
http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx
US and Canada:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;OfferProPhone
To continue working with me in the newsgroups, please see the following:
1. As the Event log:
a. Click Start -> Run, type EVENTVWR.MSC and click OK.
b. Select the Application Event log, right click it and select "Save Log
File As"
c. Save it as .evt file and attach the file in your reply.
d. Export System Event Log too.
2. As the Event Error 9097 and 9098, the problem is probably caused
because the components of Server Performance report are
not correctly registered in WMI repository.
When we restart the WMI service after removing the original WMI repository,
the system will automatically recreate the WMI repository. The files are
recreated when the service restarts based on the information provided in
the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WBEM\CIMOM\Autorecover
Here, I would like to suggest you reinstall SBS monitoring and reporting
components. Please refer to the following steps:
a. Open Add/Remove Programs in ''Control Panel''. Select ''Windows Small
Business Server 2003'' and click ''Change/Remove'' button.
b. The SBS 2003 setup wizard will initiate. In the wizard, click ''Next''
button-->In components selection window, select ''Maintenance'' for
''Server Tools'' and then select ''Reinstall'' for Monitoring.
c. Click ''Next'' to continue the installation.
3. Event 8026
Event 8026 is generated every time that the computer shuts down or starts.
This event occurs because of differences in the timing between services as
they stop and start. You can ignore this event if it occurs during computer
shutdown and startup.
828051 Event ID 8026 Is Logged in Event Viewer After You Install Small
Business Server
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=828051
4. Events 8250, 2104 & 2102
These events are normally logged at boot on a SBS machine. Once the system
comes up, can you access all AD and Exchange services? If so, you can
ignore these events. Refer to the following Knowledge Base article for more
information:
322837 Events 2104, 2102, and 8250 are logged after you apply Exchange 2000
Server Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=322837
NOTE: That article talks about Exchange 2000, but it applies to Exchange
2003 as well.
Best regards,
Nathan Liu (MSFT)
