POP3 error ..... (The operation completed successfully.)

Can anyone explain this message in the event log.
An error occurred during a POP3 transaction to server <pop3.xxxxxxxxx.com
[username]>. The error is 0 (The operation completed successfully.)
This is one of a series of 3 meesages that appear frequently in the event
log. It doesn't happen everytime the pop3 connector connects , but its
often enough for me to be concerned.
Server is connected to the Internet via an ADSL router.
The 3 errors logged in this order are:-
1)
Event Type: Error
Event Source: POP3 Connector
Event Category: Download
Event ID: 1036
Date: 18/11/2005
Time: 04:50:59
User: N/A
Computer: SBSSERVER
Description:
An error occurred during a POP3 transaction to server <pop3.ispdns.com
[username]>. The error is 0 (The operation completed successfully.
).
2)
Event Type: Error
Event Source: POP3 Connector
Event Category: Download
Event ID: 1023
Date: 18/11/2005
Time: 04:50:59
User: N/A
Computer: SBSSERVER
Description:
The downloading process for mailbox <pop3.ispdns.com [username]> was ended
with one or more errors.
3)
Event Type: Error
Event Source: POP3 Connector
Event Category: Download
Event ID: 1019
Date: 18/11/2005
Time: 04:50:59
User: N/A
Computer: SBSSERVER
Description:
The message download process finished with one or more errors.
I did have a problem with lots of failed attempts and have applied MS Hotfix
