HI Alex,
Welcome to SBS newsgroup.
Issue description:
===============
I understand that you want to send companyweb alerts to multiple email
address.
Analyzing and suggestion:
================
Generally speaking, it is possible to do that on the companyweb, but we do
not support to input multiple email address on that space, so you can
create a Distribution group on your SBS 2003 and add the user you want to
receive the companyweb alerts.
Please refer to my suggestion below:
1. Create a distribution group. Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
Navigate to Domain\MyBusiness\Distribution Groups. Right-click it and
choose ''New''->''Group''. Input the name of the group such as ''Alert''
Select ''Distribution'' as the group type->Check ''Create an Exchange
e-mail address'' option->Click ''Finish'' button. A new Distribution group
will be created.
2. Create a contact with the external e-mail address. You may create a new
OU under ''MyBusiness'' and then create a new Contact in the OU. When you
create the contact, please input the name of the recipient->Check ''Create
an Exchange e-mail address''. Click ''Modify'' button, select ''SMTP
Address'' and input the external mail address of the recipient.
3. Add the domain recipients and the contact into the distribution group.
Open the distribution group, in ''Members'' tab, click ''Add'' button.
Click ''Object Types'' button and make sure ''Contacts'' object is
selected. Query the name of the domain recipient and the newly created
contact recipient. Add them into the list.
4. Logon the Companyweb site. Click ''Site Settings'' and then ''My alerts
on this site''. Click the link of ''Help Desk''. In ''Send alerts to''
area, click ''Change my e-mail address''. Input the e-mail address of the
distribution group: alert@xxxxxxxxxx Click ''OK'' to close the pages.
I hope the above information helpful to your issue, please feel free to
post back your results. I am glad to be of assistance.
Best regards,
Charles Yang (MSFT)
