This was noticed during the beta testing of CSM 3, and at least one request
was made that the Trend firewall default to disabled.
I haven't done a clean or upgrade installation using the release version; so
I can't verify - but I have reason to believe the firewall is indeed
disabled by default.
Also, are you not prompted or warned about this during installation, and
possibly even given the choice of enabling or not? I remember reading "we
recommend you disable other firewalls (like XP firewall)" and thinking to
myself - this isn't going to happen on an SBS network (if anywhere ;-)).
If you are prompted to turn on the trend firewall - the answer is no ;-). If
it's not off by default, then turn it off in Security Settings | Firewall
for all of the groups of computers (default groups are a) Workstations and
b) Servers.
Note that if you have legacy groups (from an in-place upgrade), I'd
recommend you move the computers in them to one of the above groups.
