I understand that you got error code 2185 when you running net start. Please see my following suggestions: 

1. Open Registry editor, go to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanworkstation

2. Check the registry key to see if the Start value exists with the data of 2.

3. Check if there is a space in the key/value name.

If the registry key does not exist, please right click on the right pane, New -> DWORD. Name the registry key as Start. Double click it and input the Value data 2.

Hello Brandy,

Is like i said in the last post, i don't have the messenger service installed. I found in the web some ways to install it but none work.
The error i got when doing "net start messenger" is this:

The service name is invalid.
More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2185.
