RE: Outlook Web Access loses bits

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the email.

1. As you mentioned, you haven't install the SBS 2003 SP1, and this issue
only occurs when you try to access the OWA from external client.

2. >> I don't know what "Premium Mode" is so presume that the issue occurs
without it.
When you using the http://195.172.215.130/exchange to access the OWA,
choose "Premium" or "Basic" check box in the OWA logon page.

3. Please kindly refer to the following information to re-run the CEICW:

a. Click Start, click Server Management.

b. Click To Do List and then click "Connect to the Internet".

c. Click Next, select "Do not change connection type" and click Next.

d. Select Enable firewall and click Next.

e. Ensure E-mail is selected and Click Next.

f. On the Web Services Configuration page shows, make sure that "Outlook
Web Access" is selected. Click Next.

g. On the Web Server Certificate page shows. Select "Create a new Web
server certificate", and type your FQDN (mail.domain.com or
195.172.215.130) in the "Web server name" text box. Click Next.

IMPORTANT: The FQDN that you type in the "Web server name" box must be the
same name that you use to connect to the Web site from the Internet. For
example, if the URL that you use to connect to the OWA is
https://mail.contoso.com/exchange, type "mail.contoso.com" (without the
quotation marks) in the "Web server name" box. If you use
http://Publicipaddress/exchange to access OWA, type the public IP address
in the "Web server name". (i.e. 195.172.215.130)

h. Go through the steps to finish the wizard.

4. Please kindly refer to the following link to install the SBS 2003 SP1,

If the issue persists, please help me collect the following information:

1. Please run 'eventvwr.exe' (without the quotation marks) on the command
prompt on the SBS 2003 Server, and check if there are any error messages
about this issue, then paste the full context in your reply.

2. Send the most recent IIS log files to me for analysis. To do so, please
reproduce this issue again, and then go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles,
compress the W3SVC1 folder and send the zip file to me.

Best regards,
