HI David,
Welcome to SBS newsgroup.
Issue description:
===============
I understand that you could not receive any internet emails.
Analyzing and suggestion:
================
Generally speaking, the issue might be caused by many factors, in order to
clarify the issue more clearly, please help perform the steps below:
1. Please rerun CEICW, this might be helpful to confirm that your Exchange
is configured correctly. You can refer to the KB article below for detailed
information:
825763 How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server
2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825763
2. Please also check the event view to see if there are any error messages
related to your Exchange outgoing transports.
3. As you could not connect receive any internet emails, could you also
check if you can telnet to your Exchange server via telnet Server public
IP:25
4. Please also check the bad mail folder on the mailroot to see if there
are any internet emails there.
5. If you use smarthost to send and receive emails, please also contact
with your ISP to see if the email is blocked on the ISP side.
6. Please also check if the issue occurs on the all external domain, you
can try to send email from hotmail or yahoo to see if you can receive email
on your exchange mailbox.
7. Please also check if you implement any internet email filter on the
exchange side and IMF side. You can check if the email is blocked by the
IMF
A. Open Exchange system managements.
B. Right click the Message delivery tab chooses properties.
C. On the IMF tab, choose no action for the blocked message.
D. Check again to see if the issue still exists or not?
8. Have you implemented any other email filter on the ISA server?
9. If possible, please also paste the detailed NDR message so that we can
identify the root cause of the problem.
10. Please also make sure that your antivirus software did not block the
internet inbound emails.
I appreciate your time to cooperate on this issue, please feel free to post
back your results. I am glad to be of further assistance.
Best regards,
Charles Yang (MSFT)

| As the subject says, I have SBS 2003 SP1 Premium with all of the updates.
I
| recently installed WMS and Exchange SP2. Sometime over the last couple of
| days I stopped getting any email sent to my domain. I don't know exactly
when
| I stopped getting the email as I get so much from other accounts that I
| didn't notice until a client called to tell me the email is getting
returned.
|
| I can send email and I can get pop email. I also have TrendMicro CSM 2.0
| with eManager installed and it has been working great.
|
| I'm not sure where to start?
|
| Thanx, David.
