Reconnect mailbox error

Hello all,

I am relativly new to Exchange and SBS2003.

I have an orphaned mailbox which I would like to reconnect to an
exisiting user.
I right click on the orphaned mailbox, choose reconnect, and type in my
username.

However I get an error telling me I can't use that, or it doesn't
exist.
I even tried adding a new user and locating that, but still nothing.

Any help or advise would be most appreciated.
