I made a quick visit to the Toshiba site. There appear to be 2 updates
for the 3500 which, together (both seem to be needed), provide WPA
support. You should check that out.
If that doesn't work, I see the 3500 has one Type II PCCARD slot and a
couple of USB ports. External WPA-compliant WiFi adapters are available
for both types of interface.
