Done, saved a file called – "Testing the lost file issue.rtf".

It was there when I went back to my computer and went through explorer to
find.

All computers seem to be having this problem. Now I have a file that I saved
from my computer that is nowhere to be found. I’ve looked through Excel,
through Sharepoint search, through explorer, and looked for it on the SBS
Server itself.

> 2. Is there any error message in the event view?

No error messages.
However, when you try to save the file a second time, you receive a message
that tells you the file already exists and asks if you want to replace it.

At this point I would say it happens every time. I just did a trial run on a
file, created and saved through Excel (this happens with Word as well). All
users.

Yes, we have another document library, "Scanned Documents" that this occurs
with as well. We only use two document libraries, "Shared" and "Scanned
Documents".
