HI Paul,
Welcome to SBS newsgroup.
Issue description:
==============
Can I assume that the email notification feature for mobile devices is
stopped working.
Analyzing and suggestions:
===============
Before we go any further, I suggest you follow my steps below to double
check if your setting is correctly:
To set the Enable notifications to user-specified SMTP address option for
your organization
1. On the Exchange that is running Exchange ActiveSync, log on with the
Exchange administrator account, and then start Exchange System Manager.
2. Expand Global Settings, right-click Mobile Services, and then click
Properties.
3. On the Mobile Services Properties page, in the Exchange ActiveSync pane,
clear Enable notifications to user specified SMTP address If you want to
specify a mobile operator for your user.
4. Click OK.
To specify a mobile operator for up-to-date notifications on a device
1. In ActiveSync, on a mobile device that is powered by Windows, tap Tools,
and then tap Options.
2. On the Server tab, tap Options.
3. On the Server Synchronization Options screen, tap Device Address.
4. On the Device Address screen, select Corporate Service Provider, and
then enter the Device Phone Number and Service Provider Name in the fields
that are provided if your users are using a mobile operator that you
specify.
If you make sure that all the setting is correctly, we need to gather more
information for further troubleshooting:
1. Is there any error event log on to SBS event view, please paste them to
newsgroup. The error should be related to Exchange server.
2. Please make sure that your PPC can be successfully connected with SBS
domain.
3. You need also check with the ISP to see if there are any problem on the
ISP side, this might also cause the problem as the SMS system on ISP might
encounter some problem the trigger will not work any more.
I appreciate your effort on this issue; please feel free to post back. I am
glad to be of further assistance.
Best regards,
Charles Yang (MSFT)

| Suddenly the sms trigger that Exchange sends to my Mobile 2003 devices

| Any ideas?
