How to uninstall Trend ScanMail when you don't have the media?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I'm trying to uninstall Trend ScanMail on a server, but I don't have the
Trend installation media. The Trend maintenance expired long ago and we
need to get rid of Trend completely.

After going to Add/Remove Programs, and clicking to remove ScanMail, I get
the error: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that
is unavailable. Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a
folder containing the installation package 'Trend Micro ScanMail for
Microsoft Exchange.msi'" and it's suggesting c:\smexroot\

There is no directory c:\smexroot

I really hate installers what require the installation media to UNINSTALL.

I thought this wasn't supposed to happen any more - last time I experienced
it was with Office 97

:-(
