ntbackup start blue screen

i have sbs2003 premium with active sql and exchange on a hp ml350.
every night when backup should start - i get a bluescreen and the server
restarts
server sp1, exchange sp and sql sp and sbs sp1 are installed
i had installed first ca arcserve, but deinstalled it because i had also
blue screens with it
i would be happy for any tip to resolve this issue. the server is on a
customer site where i do not have access all time
