Henry, Frank's comments are correct, but in case you don't understand all
the acronyms he used: the simple answer is: No, you cannot drop SBS down to
function in a workgroup mode. If you try to do so, you will actually find
you SBS server automatically powering down every few minutes.
The real question or issue is: Why would yo want to do this? The only thing
I've seen in the past is that people who ask this question are afraid of
moving into a server encironment -- that managing a domain or Exchange is
too hard. If this is your case, I would put you at ease and say -- once you
get SBS installed, it's easier than a workgroup environment -- and safer,
and more secure!
