Hi Martin,
Thanks for your reply.
Would you please help me confirm the following information?
1. Does the problem persist after you configured the W2K server per 327644?
2. If you disable the AV software, does this help?
Regarding the RPC issue, you can test it using the following method:
1. Test the connection using another application that will use RPC:
1) You can right click My Computer and select Manage.
2) Right click the Computer Management (Local) and select Connect to
another computer and try to connect to SBS.
3) If you can connect, RPC should have been created.
2. You can also use the RPC ping utility to test the connections. You can
refer to the following KB article:
831051 How to use the RPC Ping utility to troubleshoot connectivity issues
with
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=831051
Hope it helps and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hi Crina,
|
| Thanks for your input. I have reset the licensing as set out in
| 327644 and LLS link in 296681(it was correct but I changed it away and
| changed it back to force it through).
|
| In respect of 198132.this refers to "verify that the LLS server can
| establish a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) connection with the License
| Master server over the network". Can you advise how I can test this?
|
| As noted below, theserrors typically only start after the server has
| been running for between 24 and 26 hours.
|
| Best regards,
|
