Dear Luiz:
Thank you for posting here.
>From the description, I understand that you want to create a scheduled site
and content rule so that the users will be restricted to access internet
based on the pre-defined the schedule. If I am off base, please feel free
to let me know.
Yes, we can do that. Here, just a sample, I suppose that the users are not
allowed to access internet on Thursday. We can perform the following steps:
1. Create a new schedule, make sure the activation times of "Thursday" is
set as "Active" and other ALLOW days are set as "Inactive".
2. Create a new Site and Content Rule as following:
Name: Deny internet access on Thursday
Rule Action: Deny
Rule Configuration: Deny access only at certain times
Schedule: Use the schedule created before
3. Make sure all the internal clients have been configured as Web Proxy
client (Use ISA as the Proxy Server).
Then navigate to Extensions->Application Filters, on the right pane, double
click the "HTTP Redirector Filter". Go to the Options tab, enable the
option "Reject HTTP requests from Firewall and SecureNAT clients".
Note: In this way, the clients who are not using the Web proxy will surely
not be allowed to access the internet, in another word, the client will be
forced to use the web proxy.
4. Restart the Web Proxy Service
After we doing that, the internal clients will be unable to access the
internet on Thursday. However, they will still be able to view the internet
on other days.
Hope the above information helps. Please feel free to let me know if there
is anything I can do for you.
Have a nice weekend!
Best Regards
Edward Tian(MSFT)
