Hello Cerbero,
Thank you for posting back!
I understand that you meet new issue, please understand that we need to
troubleshooting issues one by one.
For your original issue, I need to double confirm whether you have strictly
follow the steps to Update the Windows Small Business Server ClientApps
folder with Windows XP SP2, and then reinstall Fax Service on problematic
client workstations.
Also, please collect Fax Activity Log. To do so:
i. Go to Server Management\Standard Management\Fax (Local).
ii. Right click Fax (Local), and select Properties. Activity Logging tab.
iii. Make sure that you have checked the two boxes: Log incoming fax
activity and Log outgoing fax activity. You will see the Activity log
folder location underneath. By default, it locates at C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\ActivityLog.
Please paste the full content of the file to the Newsgroup. [Note]: Please
do not customize any information inside the file.
iv. Also, please go to Inbox tab. Check whether you have checked the box
"Archive all incoming faxes to this folder". If yes, you can find all your
faxes if they are undelivered to any of the four methods. By default, the
folder locates at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\Inbox.
Please take your time to perform the steps above and collect the
information for us to troubleshoot your issue. If anything is unclear,
please feel free to let me know. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Brandy Nee
