Hi Ashkaan,
Thanks for your reply.
To troubleshooting the issue, would you please help me make sure if you can
run extwiz.exe, scw.exe or viewcli.exe in c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Windows Small Business Server\ClientSetup?
Thanks for the time and I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hi guys,
| I did restore the share "Clients" to what it was before but still get
| the same errors. I am kind of new to this, so I could have goofed
| somewhere!
|
| Here is a more detailed info:
| - I had a server running WIndows 2000 Server, with the domain name
| domain1.com
| - I got a "new" server, running WIndows 2003 Server SBS with domain
| domain2.com
| - Prior to installing to installing the new server, I ran "dcpromo" on
| the ld server (Windows 2000) to stop it from being a DC.
| - I set up the new server (Windows 2003) and joined the old server to
| the new domain.
| - I think, for some reason, the old server thinks it is still the
| domain controller. When I was running "dcpromo" on the 2000, the 2003
| server was not yet setup. So, I was presented with an error message
| that I must check "this server is the last domain controller in the
| domain" checkbox. Only then I could proceed.
|
| Could this have caused the problem? I so, how can I remedy this
| problem?
|
| Thanks.
