BDC removal

I have a 2003 SBS network with 2 other member servers that were
promoted over 1 year ago to BDC's and this weekend the SBS 2003 server
crashed hard, and had to be reinstalled. since then my BDC's are not
playing nice, and I can't DCPROMO.exe as it fails. I've even taken the
nic and plugged it into its' own switch and rebooted the server and it
still says Failed, due to it knows it's not the only server left, as I
want to trick it by saying it's the last server and then I will remove
it all together and then just join it to the domain as a member server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
