Re: Users Logging off -- Synchronization

HI Alex,

Welcome to SBS newsgroup.

Issue description:
==============

I understand that you encountered a problem when try to sync with the
user's folder with SBS server.

Analyzing and suggestions:
================

>From your description, it seems you have configured the redirect my
documents folder to SBS server, if this is your issue, please rerun
configure my documents redirection wizard on the backup node on the SBS
server management to make sure that it is configured correctly.

This will only sync the files on my documents for that users.

If this is not your issue and you use the group policy to configure your
folder redirection, please refer to my suggestion below to confirm that you
folder redirection is configured correctly:

1. Open the group policy management console on server management.

2. Click the Group Policy tab, you will find the SBS folder redirection
policy.

3. Click Edit to edit the Domain My Docs Redirection GPO.

4. Expand User Configuration.

5. Expand Windows Settings.

6. Expand Folder Redirection.

7. Right-click My Documents, and then click Properties.

8. Click Basic.

9. In the Target Folder Location box, type the path as:

\\<servername>\<sharename>\<username>
10. In the setting tab, make sure that "move the contents on my documents
to new location is checked" this will move the content to SBS 2003.

If the issue still exists, could you let me know the detailed error
messages and which kinds of folder is sync when log off.
