The VPN connection is a persistent link created by the Symantec Gateway
Sytems 360 Router. 2 gateways one at each location. Static IP's. Cable ISP
both the same provider.
The email is a POP3 connector from Verio.
I am unfamiliar with Smart Host but I will look into it this wekend.
