Attaching a printer to the domain

I am running SBS2K3 Premium. 12 users. Server runs DNS, Router runs DHCP.
Have a Cannon 3220 Printer/Scanner which is "network ready". All users can
print to it, but it does not show up in the domain or in one of the two
workgroups also on our LAN. It has the capability for "pushing" a scan from
the machine to your desktop, or "pulling" a scan from your desktop. Pulling
will work, but it errors out when pushing a scan. The one exception is the
one user who is on the LAN, but not joined to the domain.
Question: How to I introduce the printer/scanner to the domain so that they
will play together properly?
