Re: Laptop users and roaming profiles

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

HI Ben,

Thanks for updates.

By default, it will sync no matter you use VPN connect to SBS domain or
connect via local network, but we can set it according to your current
situation:

1. Logon one of the client computer.
2. Open Explore windows then choose tools-synchronize
3. Choose setup
4. Then you can set which connection you want to sync and when you want to
sync, it is very convenient for you to decide.

I appreciate your understanding on this issue, please feel free to post
back. I am glad to be of further assistance.

Best regards,

| Hi Charles
|
| Thank you for your post.
|
| I assume that the syncronisation will occur when the Laptop logs on to the
| network. So it wont use the bandwidth when the user connects to a VPN
after
| logging on?
|

| B
