I was going to say set your Ring Answer to 2 (Default 1)
But you've changed it to 4 already? Hmmm...
have you tried a Different driver (Older)
I know I'm reaching at straws. but I've sometimes had better luck with a 2
year old driver for say NT Server, than a Latest and greatest Driver for XP
Win2000...
Hmm? is it a USB Modem? I've heard people constantly having problems with
them.
Sorry?
But on a good note, it does sound like you are doing good
Troubleshooting..(Kudos)
