Hi David,
Thanks for posting here! Also thanks for Dave's input.
For your description, I understand that you can not logon domain again
unless reboot workstation 1-4 times after the user logoff from domain. If I
am off base, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Before we go further, please kindly help me collect some information to
isolate the issue so that the issue can be resolved efficiently:
1. What is the mean of " I have to delete the user and then add them back
in "? Do you mean the issue disappeared if you delete the user account on
the server box and then recreate a user account using the same name?
Can I assume your issue is that domain user account only can logon to
domain first time, if it logoff It will not logon again on the same
computer unless reboot the workstation 1-4 times?
2. Does the issue happen on your all workstations or some specific
workstations? Or does the issue happen on some specific user accounts?
Could you give me the accurate error message for further analyze when you
can not logon back again?
3. Do you try to use different user account to try to logon when the user
account can not logon back again? How about domain admin?
4. When the issue happened, can the user account logon locally?
5. And also please save some text copies of Application /System log on
server box and the problematic workstation for analzye:
A. Open Event Viewer: Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Tools ->
Event Viewer.
B. Right-click on Application/System log and select "Save Log File As?".
Please send the event log files to my mailbox: v-yanniw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I appreciate your time. We are glad to help and look forward to your reply!
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Jenny Wu
