SBS re-connection

If I log off the SBS 2003 domain, and try to re-connect with shutting
down, I can't log in. I have to shut down. Sometimes, I have to shut
down 4 times before it will allow me to connect to SBS 2003.
Sometimes, I have to delete the user and then add them back in

why, how to correct?
