Cool to hear its working for you.
Pretty sure though that all that was said was that unless your card
supported being connected before login that it wouldn't be possible, not
just hard-and-fast that it wouldn't be. The in-built WiFi on my current
laptop doesn't support this - my previous laptop didn't with its initial
software, did later on with an update. That's a laptop/WiFi card issue, not
an SBS one per-se.
Whether or not having WiFi on the inside of your LAN or having a router on
the inside of your LAN are other issues that are open to debate. As long as
you're aware that you're increasing your security risk and are happy with
accepting that then I'm happy to hear you have it working as you wanted.
