Re: Changing internet static IP

Does not really matter. Linksys, Dlink, Belkin seem to work.
I have plenty of servers out there connected to the isp router. I have
had to change the external ip on occasion. I had nothing to do except
change the ip, maybe reboot and run the internet connection wizard. I
thnik I have not even run the wizard on a few servers. I could not
swear to that as it is so rare that I have to change the external ip.
Usually those thieves that blacklist you for spamming. Darn users who
send out newsletters to hundreds of people. You might be able to skip
a reboot if you stop all services that might use that external ip.
