Hello Gordon,
Thank you for posting back!
Please see my suggestions:
1> From the icw.log you applied, I noticed following error messages:
Error 0x80005000 returned from call to Enabling Wireless admin for OMA().
Error 0x80005000 returned from call to CEMailCommit::Commit().
Based on my research, this is a Name Resolution issue with the connector
not being able to resolve the name of the computer and domain name
correctly. To troubleshoot the issue,
a. Right click My Computer and select Properties.
b. Select the Computer Name Tab.
c. Confirm that the Full Computer name and domainname is correct.
( My computername showed a dot at that end of the full computername.)
Example: Full Computer name-> Server1.ABC.com.
Domain name-> ABC.com
d. Select the Change Button on the server and verify the correct computer
name.
e. Select the More button and the Primary DNS suffix of this computer was
blank.
f. Add the domain name to the suffix and reboot the computer.
g. Reran the CEICW.
2> In your reply, you mentioned "Everything works when I switch to a 1 nic
topology", I suggest you install a new NIC as the Second NIC and test the
issue again, because I am doubting whether the original NIC is damaged.
[Note]: Please rerun CEICW afterwards. If the Second NIC is the internal
NIC, please run Change IP address wizard before running CEICW.
Please take your time to perform the steps above and collect the
information for us to troubleshoot your issue. If anything is unclear,
please feel free to let me know. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Brandy Nee
