Re: Can't access domain controller

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hello Ajeum,

Thank you for posting back!

Thanks a lot for your detail reply! From the ipconfig result, I notice the
following settings are incorrect. Please see:

========================================

Your current DNS Servers settings on Side B client is:

DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.118.1
192.168.117.20

Please correct is as: DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.117.20

========================================

Your current DNS Servers settings on Side B Windows Server 2003 is:

DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.117.20
192.168.118.1

Please delete 192.168.118.1.

=========================================

Your current DNS Servers settings on Side A Windows Server 2003 is:

DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.117.1
192.168.117.20

Please delete 192.168.117.1

This is because in SBS 2K3 domain, all computers' DNS should be same as SBS
2K3 Server. For more information, please see:

Hope this information helps. If anything is unclear, please feel free to
let me know. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
