licensing, processors and upgrade

Make a long story short

Our client (which we did a swing IT on 3 weeks ago) have asked us to upgrade
his standard server to enterprise. This is a quad processor, 4 GB memory
dedicated SQL. They want to break the 8 GB Memory and take full use of the 4
processors. The original installer was unaware of the standard version
limitations. The CD was purchased as MS Open license, so the question is:
When they purchase the Enterprise edition, do we still have to buy 65 CAL
again? Does the fact that 65 CAL SBS 03 is installed as a DC in the same
domain make any difference? Or is the original open license CD good enough?
