Hi Paul,
Thanks for your update by mail!
Yes, for those workstations have joined domain, if you want to change their
IE settings you need manually reapply the install.ins file again on every
workstation. To do so, run the following command on workstations:
rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,BrandInternetExplorer /ins:"path to install.ins"
Please input the path to install.ins file as:
\\%sbsserver%\clients\setup\install.ins
Try to do it. If you have any further concern or question on the issue
please feel free to let me know. I am always happy to be assistance of you!
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Jenny Wu

Hi Jenny,
Thank you very much for your response. If I could give you a little
background info on the problem .
My organisations networked environment makes use of Romaing Profiles. When
a user logged onto another P.C. then back onto their own P.C. their proxy
settings would change to that of enabled and point to our SBS server which
does have IS&AS installed but unused.
I located the install.ins file on the server and workstations and was under
the impression that the SBS server would copy these settings or copy the
entire file to workstations that joined the domain. I have since modified
the servers version of install.ins by changing the Proxy_Server enabling
line from a 1 to a 0 and joined a new workstation to the domain. This
workstation appears to have received the install.ins file settings with the
modification I made.
At this point, I beleived that as the other workstations had already joined
the domain and received the install.ins from the server, it was too late
for them to receive these changes and manually updated the file across all
workstations and the problem appears to be no more.
Do you know if my beliefs were correct or am I missing something?
Thank you ever so much for your help.
Kind Regards
Paul Johnson.
