Hello Daren,
Thank you for posting.
>From your post, my understanding of this issue is: You would like to host
your website on a Windows XP Pro in your network and you have some question
regarding this. If this is not correct, please feel free to let me know.
Regarding the first question, technical speaking, we may or may not join
the Windows XP into the domain. However, consider the security of the
domain, it is recommended to leave the Windows XP out of the domain and put
it in the DMZ of the firewall, just like Per has mentioned.
Regarding the second question, Windows XP Professional is a client
operating system, and IIS 5.1 for Windows XP Professional is designed for
users developing a Web service for home or for office use, so that there
are some limitations in IIS 5.1. It can service only 10 simultaneous
client connections, only one Web site, and it does not have all the
features of the server versions. For more information, you may refer to
the following links:

Additionally, I wonder why you would host the web site on a Windows XP Pro
based computer. Actually, in a SBS 2003 environment, the best practice is
hosting the web site on the SBS server, and using ISA Server or other
firewall to secure the network environment. Hosting web site on SBS Server
will provide more secure, reliable, and full function web service.
Therefore, I suggest you host the web site on the SBS Server. The
