Remote connection (VPN)

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi, I am am running the the remote connection wizard.
I am putting in the FQDN of my server.
I use dynamic DNS through dyndns.org

My client computers are unable to connect to the server.
Do I need to open ports on my router as well. It is an older Netgear and
does not have built in VPN.

Thanks
.
