Hi TT, I totally understand where you are coming from. I understand about
routers and would agree with you.
In a private circuit ignore the fact these are cisco routers. They have been
configured to communicate with each other that is all. There are no IPs to
communicate with (on an X21 link)We cannot access the cisco routers console.
I have an ethernet point to plug into each end. Imagine it as just a 5 mile
patch cable...lol
Enterprise site it is plugged into HUB so full access to LAN from my side.
Will be putting laptop into my end and hopefully see lan by configuring nic
on laptop in 100.100.100.x.
As this is public LAN wondering what would happen in SBS land ( remember had
idea of third network card with 100.100.100.25) but think I need to put this
in LAT table but then public in LAT ??
