RE: File Sharing from Client to SBS2003 Problem

Crina,
We are making PROGRESS! YIPPY!

I installed the patchs and when I disable the Windows firewall, I am able
access the files and printers from the Server. I was able to re-enable
Norton Firewall and configure it to allow me to access the files and
printers. But, when I re-enable Windows Firewall, I am unable to access
the files and printers. So, we can say. That it is truely a Firewall issue.

When I went to configure the Firewall, I went into the Exceptions Tab and
noticed that File and Printer Sharing was enabled (still dimmed). I selected
that field and hit the Edit button. It says that it is only allow
configurations for that Subnet. When I clicked Change Scope, everything was
dimmed in that configuration screen and I am unable to change it. Therefore,
I need to open that so I can change it, or edit my group policy (which I
think would be better) to make the changes.

I wanted to put in a Custom list so that only clients on my network could
access the files and printers. How would I write the scope if I have
computers in the following subnets.

192.168.1.x through 192.168.7.x

Again, thanks for your help. We are getting very close.
