Milena,

Build yourself a temp dc and use the SwingIT to copy over the AD settings
etc.. Make sure you backup the data to tape and another machine. The more
places you have the data the better for recovery.
Rebuild the original server via the swing go through the rest of the SwingIT
process. Hey presto you have your original server name on the same box as
before. The only problem in doing it this way for me was that I had no
backup route. As you are replacing the hard disk then you can put it back
in and the users would not know any difference.
