Hi Giuseppe,
Thanks for your update. I am glad to know that things are getting fine now.
I appreciate your time and effort to the issue and get this resolved. Yes,
your solution is perfect. We've seen some issues that server does not
recognize the media until the tape drive was "cleaned" (or marked as
clean). You can monitor your server for some time, please feel free to post
back when you need further assistance on this issue.
Additionally, I suggest that you apply the hotfix 833167 to avoid some
known issues. You can get detail info in KB article:
A Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) update package is available for Windows
Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=833167
It is recommended that the exchange server database is placed in the
different drive with Windows OS. I would like to introduce a KB article
about how to move Exchange databases and logs.
821915 How to move Exchange databases and logs in Exchange Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=821915
Hope above information helps! I am always happy to be assistance of you!
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Jenny Wu
