Hi Crina,
Sorry for the late reply, but I needed to go to the office to do that,
and it must be out of the working hours...
I was able to delete the directory "Panda Administrator 3" with all
subdirectories when booting in safe mode. So I thought everything was
solved, but when booting in normal mode again and starting the
installation, it gave access denied errors again. And indeed, when
trying to create certain subdirectories, I get an access denied
again... So in that "Panda Administrator 3" directory I can create all
directories I want except certain names, it's like something is
protecting certain paths in the filesystem.
Since I deleted the complete Panda directory, is there something else
in the Windows OS that could be protecting certain directories against
attacks. Because it seems logic to me that an Antivirus program would
lock its own program directory to protect against attacks... But I
never heard of such a thing in Windows and a quick google also didn't
help me further.
In meanwhile I will also try to contact the Panda TechSuppport to see
if they can help me out.
Thanks,
Bert
.
