Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I am glad to hear the problem has been solved. Then regarding the
http://servername/connectcomputer, would you please help me confirm if the
problem still persist?
Would you tell me if the computer has been joined to the domain? To narrow
down the problem, can you post a screen shot to newsgroup?
Thanks for your time and I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hi Crina,
|
| I first tried http://servername/connectcomputer = page not displayed. I
| tried different variants of that string but to no avail, I also got 'page
is
| moved' mess. Just by the off-shot, is there some criteria to be met
before
| that string will work ?
|
| As to your next suggestion, I knew that 1.
|
| So anyway, I decided to delete the domain users profile, just incase
copying
| the profile was the problem. I then logged back in as the domain user,
and
| now with its default profile, I could open both outlook & o.express and I
| could also change the desktop.
| So now I will just import the mail and documents for that user / future
users.
|
| How silly it was of me for not looking at the simplicity of the task at
| hand, feel like a right womble.
| I've learnt my lesson, and I will walk instead of jumping in.
|
| Either way,I would like to thank you for your help.
| TY
