Sharepoint Uninstann and Install

I had a server crash a few weeks ago. Since then sharepoint could not connect
to the databse. Today I tried following the information under article id
829114 and followed each step. The problems I ran into are under delete
company web site I had no web site to delete so I moved on. I also skipped
the section on symantec mail security, we are not using symantec. We also
have the update version on the install disk. I followed all of the steps and
during the install I now get the error: Intranet blocking message indicates
that a condition prevented the component from installing to determin weather
you can fix review messages. You may need to run setup after resolving the
issue. Check application 105.

What is application 105?

The application event viewer has created several errors event id 1000.

I also went to update and did the sp 1 update for sharepoint services.

I also had sp 1 on sbs 2003.

I am getting the error not authorized to view this page error when opening
Internet Explorer.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
