Many thanks for your valuable feedback.
We are a Microsoft Action Pack Subscriber, so have a certain number of
licenses & CALs for each product (SQL 2000 Standard: 1 license, 10 CALs. SBS
2003 Premium: 1 license, 10 CALs). We only have 5 users on our network.
A little more history for you... Our new accountancy software requires a SQL
backend - hence our need for a SQL server. We would also like to install
Microsoft's CRM software - I think this also needs an SQL backend.
In our network we have a SBS2003 server & Windows Server 2003 setup as a
terminal server. So, I still don't really know where best to install SQL
(SBS2003 Standard to Premium upgrade or SQL 2000 on the WTS?). BTW, our WTS
server is a much higher spec that the SBS.
Many thanks for your further help on this matter :o)
