Thanks for your update! Yes, Outlook is not recommended to install in SBS
server since Exchange server has intalled on the box. If so, there are some
issues on it.
However if you want to configure SQL to send mail you need to install
Outlook to send mail. The SQL Mail feature of SQL Server 2000 does not work
if Microsoft Outlook is not installed on the server that functions as the
mail client. If you want to user SQL mail feature you must install it. I
have test it and it works properly.
