Thanks for your response Marina,
No flushing the DNS cache did not remove the callouts regarding multiple DNS
entries.
There are no other servers on the network. I have one computer running
SBS2003, 5 clients running WinXP connected to a .local domain, using DHCP
from the SBS server, all connected through the server to a T1 line.
If it helps at all, the system still detected multiple domain controllers
and shut down on an event 1012 even when the server was physically
disconnected from all network devices, so it seems the server is detecting
the additional DC from itself.
