Hello Imiller,
Thank you for posting back!
I am sorry for the delayed response due to weekend. Please understand that
the newsgroups are staffed weekdays by Microsoft Support professionals to
answer your systems and applications questions. Your understanding is
greatly appreciated!
I still suggest that we continue troubleshooting the SP1 installation issue
to see whether this issue can be resolved, rather than reinstall your whole
server totally.
Please send your log files to my following email address:
v-branee@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
If you really want to format your server, please see my following steps:
1> First of all, do you have a full backup before you installing the SBS
2K3 SP1? If yes, you can safely restore from the backup.
2> If you do not have a Backup before installing SBS SP1, you need to
manually move the AD data to a new serve by using the ADMT method, and use
Exmerge.exe to export all mailboxes to PST files, etc. The whole process
will cost you time and energy, and we do not support this method in Public
Newsgroup. If you really want to do so, I can share the general steps to
you, but you need to contact the CSS for online support to reduce your
risk.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;PHONENUMBERS
If you are outside the US please see http://support.microsoft.com for
regional support phone numbers.
I am greatly appreciated your time, and am looking forward to your reply!
Best regards,
Brandy Nee

This newsgroup only focuses on SBS technical issues. If you have issues
regarding other Microsoft products, you'd better post in the corresponding
newsgroups so that they can be resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
You can locate the newsgroup here:
