Help. Problem executing files on \\Network-server\DBfolder

Network-server and DBfolder are shared folders

Today, I created a new Share folder. To my knowledge, I did not do anything
to the existing shares. But since then I can not execute files on the
\\Network-server\DBfolder (or any subfolders). I can execute some files on
the c:\Network-server\DBfolder.

For example, I can run batch files under c:\Network-server\DBfolder, but not
under \\Network-server\DBfolder.

(Since I use \\Network-server\DBfolder paths to link files in my database.
I'm concerned that my clients will not be able to access linked tables and
run the database frontend from their desktops.)

This is urgent. Any help would be appreciated.
