Thanks Andrew for the quick reply -- have read your reply a few times, but
I'm still confused on some issues -- see below.
Simple things such as definitions such as "local" and "remote" machine. Is
"local" the machine I sit in front of at the time (could be my home or office
PC) or is "local" always the PC connected by LAN cable to the SBS server?

Which one is the local machine? The one in the office attached by LAN cable
to the server or the one in my home connecting to the SBS LAN via dial-up?

Sorry, don't understand any of this -- what is the "address of my rww"? And
do you mean making the address of my SBS server (myname.dyndns.org) a trusted
site in the IE6 security settings of the home PC?

Guess this ActiveX is some stuff that gets downloaded the 1st time from the
office, direct connnected PC to the modem connected home PC, or is that
something that comes from the microsoft.com download site?

Did not take very long for the error message to appear, maybe 20 seconds and
after that nothing more happens.
..... Guess what I'm looking for are some .doc file or clear instructions
that show me (a RWW newby) how to get "Opt 2 - Connect to my computer at
work" to work
