URLScan/IISLockdown are not included in any service pack that I know of.

You can uninstall them independently of whatever they were installed
with anyway, and then reinstall them correctly with a manual install.

IIS Configuration:

1. No, the only changes to IIS since before Public Folders stopped
working was installing .NET and one or two recent patches from
Microsoft. The last time public folders worked was about a month
ago, so any patches released by MS since then are the ones we've
applied, since I use a WSUS server for patching.

2. Screenshot of error attached.

Plugging the error number associated with those into www.eventid.net might help, because those errors are definitely not normal. They're another symptom of your problem.

I did, took me on a wild goose chase in regards to troubleshooting permissions, which were accurate, no changes were needed.

I see. So in your expert opinion, those errors are normal and to be expected.

Still back at square one.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the IIS Lockdown and URLScan tools yet, as suggested?
