RE: group policy errors

Hello GamesandSBS2003,

Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.

I understand that you found error in Resultant Set of Policy on one client
workstation. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let me know.

First of all, I strongly suggest you that strictly follow the eight steps
in the KB article below to make sure you have correctly configure the
computers on your network:

887303 Applying Group Policy causes Userenv errors and events to occur on
your
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=887303

After you have perform the steps above, run "dfsutil /pktflush" (without
quotation marks) on client workstations, and reproduce the issue to see
whether the issue occurs or not.

If the issue persists, please help to collect the following information for
further troubleshooting:

1. Does this issue happen on one domain client workstation or all of them?

2. Where did you find the error message? Please give me your steps.

3. Did this issue happen before? I need to know whether you performed any
updates or changes on your server or the problematic workstations.

4. On the problematic workstation, run "eventvwr" (without quotation
marks), check whether there is any error, if yes, double click it, click
the Copy button and paste the full content to the Newsgroup.

5. Please go to

ies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\Adm, can you find any files
under the path?

I am appreciated your time and co-operation, and looking forward to hearing
from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
