RE: Offer Remote Assistance Not Working

Hello Imiller,

Thank you for posting back!

>From your reply, I understand that you did not install the SBS 2K3 SP1
successfully due to the SharePoint Database has being moved. If I have
misunderstood your concern, please let me know.

Before we getting start, I need to gather the following information for
research. Please understand, the information I required is very important
for troubleshooting. I am greatly appreciated your co-operation to gather
the information I require:

1. You mentioned "companyweb and related sql information is not in the
original file location", I need to know what happen, did you move the data
before? If yes, how did you move? Did you refer to the following Document
to move data folders? What files you have moved?

Moving Data Folders for Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a1d0af69-1287-4225-
bd8b-59c89f44984b&DisplayLang=en

2. Due to your SBS 2K3 SP1 did not install successfully, please help to
collect the SP1 logs files to analysis:

a. First, I need to know how you knew the SBS 2K3 SP1 did not install
successfully. Did you meet any error messages when you were installing the
SP1? What is the version of your SBS 2K3 server, Standard or Premium?

b. Please go to %system drive%\program files\Microsoft Integration\windows
small business server 2003\logs, zip all the files and send it to my
mailbox.

c. Please go to c:\program files\microsoft windows small business
server\support, zip all the files and send it to my mailbox.

3. I need to know, before you installed SBS 2K3 SP1, did Offer Remote
Assistance work well?

I am appreciated your time and co-operation, and am looking forward to your
reply!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
